Verdunville Celebrates Red Ribbon Week

Verdunville Elementary Celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 24th through October 28th. On Monday students wore Red for "Red"y to live a Drug Free life. On Tuesday student's wore camoflauge to join the fight against Drugs. On Wednesday students dressed as community leaders for My Future is Bright Day. On Thursday students dressed as minions or despicable me characters because Drugs are Despicable. On Friday students wore their favorite sports team jersey to Team up against Drugs.


Mr. Boytek and Mrs. Hill teamed up and did Drug awareness lessons with students and decorated the hallways with student handprints for students to vow to keep their hands off drugs!


The wellness team also had visitors come from Logan Mingo Mental Health Center to do lesson with each classroom about drug awareness.
